Google AdWords for Video – How Accurate?

When browsing YouTube, I always make sure to watch my favorite music videos — old and new. Feeling the “grunge” mood, I’ve looked for Nirvana’s videos and stumbled upon their music video entitled “Heart Shaped Box”.

After watching the video, I noticed a funny comment on YouTube’s ads. Maroon 5: “One More Night” — Watch Now. There’s actually nothing wrong as I see it but after reading a comment from a Nirvana fanatic, it made me realize he has a point. Who’s going to watch a pop music video if the viewer is currently watching a “grunge” / rock video? Perhaps the AdWords system should improve one step deeper: capability to analyze Music genre.
